Whilst Associate Architect at PTW Architects Bosse was a key designer of the Beijing Olympics Watercube, winner of Atmosphere Award at the 9th Venice Architecture Biennale. He was recognised as an emerging architect by RIBA London in 2008.

As one of the leading Austrian experts in media, communication design and new media- and marketing strategies he further is advisor and enabler of some European start-up companies and co-organizer with Rupert Schaefer and Ola Ahlvarsson of the SIME VIENNA Conference, that successfully launched in April 2011. Martin is also Professor for Multimedia and Communication Design at “Die Graphische” in Vienna.

As a Project Leader for several prize and award-winning projects, Jakob has been instrumental in several of BIG’s largest commissions. He has led design and development of The Mountain and most recently served as the Project Leader for the new Tallinn Town Hall in Estonia, which will be completed in 2014. In addition to his skills as a Design Architect, Jakob has led website designs for PLOT & BIG, which were nominated for a Cyber Lion at the 2004 Cannes Advertising Festival. Jakob has also designed the websites and sales material for both the Mountain and VM Houses.

Studied History of Art at University of Cologne/Germany before undertaking post-graduate studies in Theory and History of Architecture at the Ecole Spéciale d'Architecture Paris with Paul Virilio and at Columbia University New York with Bernard Tschumi. He is currently Visiting Professor for Architectural Theory at University of Kassel, Germany. In 2001 he founded together with Ilka Ruby textbild, an agency for architectural communication. Recent publications include: Images. "A Picturebook of Architecture", "The Challenge of Suburbia" and "R&Sie/François Roche: Spoiled Climate".
