Location
The town of Ischgl is located in southern Austria, in the province of Tyrol, and has around 1,600 inhabitants. Ischgl lies at 1,377 meters above the Adriatic Sea in the Paznaun valley, between the Silveretta and Verwall Alpen ranges. Just one part of Ischgl's special character is that it has the highest density of four-star hotels in Austria. Beyond this, Ischgl boasts a wide choice of restaurants, bars, shops, events, and nightlife. The season opening and season finale are regularly celebrated with big pop concerts. Stars like Elton John, Söhne Mannheims, Rihanna, and Alicia Keys have already graced Ischgl's stages.
Ischgl can be reached via the railway stations and airports of Innsbruck, Zurich, and Munich. From there, connections can be made by bus, train, or rental car. Innsbruck is located about 100 km from Ischgl (automobile route).
